The reconstruction of Quay Number 7 has already begin. This is a wharf located in Old City area. This is another project of rebuilding the waterfront performed under the reconstruction project of the waterway on the Martwa Wisla and Motlawa River led by Maritime Office in Gdynia.

Waterfront Number 7 is approx. 232 m long. It starts from the mouth of Radunia Kanal to the Motlawa River, and continues in a northwesterly direction to the Wiosna Ludow street.

The waterfront which was designed will refer to its historical structures and other Motlawa Quays which has been rebuilt as a part of the same project. It comprise recreating the bay of the old ferry, which operated on the waterfront after the World War II until 1 August 1975 when the tragic disaster happened (the sinking of a ferry carrying people).

Along the waterfront will be a new walking path constituting an extension of the Dlugie and Rybackie Embankment.
